Scene Numbers

After selecting the TypeSet/PDF tab, you can activate scene numbers in your script by selecting Format Options. This will also allow you to choose whether to have a title page.

Margins

To enlarge your left margin and create space for a storyboard, select File/Page Setup. On a Mac you will then need to select "Manage Custom Sizes" in the Paper Size menu. Create and name a new custom size and enter a larger margin.

Scheduling

To create your shooting schedule, click the plus sign at the top of your Project Library, then choose "Production Schedue" and select your screenplay in the popup at the bottom.

To get scene lengths and descriptions to appear in your schedule, double-click each scene at the top.

Then enter the length of the scene in eighths of a page, and a brief description of the action.

To get Cast ID numbers to appear in your One Line Schedule, open your Master Catalog and make sure all characters are listed. Select each one and enter a Schedule ID number for each.

To format your Production Schedule as a One Liner, select the Reports tab, and then choose "One Line Schedule."
