Final Cut Pro: Top Keyboard Shortcuts

Command C -- copy

Command V -- paste

Command Q -- quit

Command Z -- undo

Control -- turns mouse into right click

Spacebar -- play or pause

J,K,L -- reverse, pause, forward

I,O -- mark In or Out points

F9 -- insert edit

F10 -- overwrite edit

Left / Right Arrows -- next frame

Up / Down Arrows -- next edit

V -- select edit

U -- type of trimming

[ ] (Square Brackets) -- trim or add one frame

Z -- zoom tool

B -- razor blade tool

Shift Delete -- delete selection and ripple

N -- turn snapping on or off

Shift L -- turn linking on or off

M -- insert marker

Command Option W -- turn timeline waveforms on or off
