
Note: the colours on the map follow the pattern found on the Timeline and Pictorial History of North American Universal Jeeps, indicating the original design on which each Jeep is based. Yellow indicates the flat-fender/high-hood CJ-3B design, although in many cases the Jeeps are made with various diesel engines rather than the original Willys F-head. The CJ-3B design has certainly been the most widely produced Universal Jeep around the world, although no worldwide figures are available.
