Mad City Chickens |
Urban Agriculture Kingston, Loving Spoonful and Cinema Kingston present a special screening of the documentary Mad City Chickens by Tarazod Films, on Thursday, 19 November 2009 at 7:00 P.M. in Ellis Hall Auditorium. Admission is free, but donations are requested. Mad City Chickens is a sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical look at the people who keep urban chickens in their backyards.
Film will be followed by a discussion and question and answer period with special guest Jacqueline Jolliffe, volunteer with Just Food Ottawa and an urban agriculture activist. She's "working to get chickens backyard where they belong."
